FAQ
I have an app I purchased through the App Store. How do I get support?
Just chat with me below or fill out the form below. I’m available most days.
Will new tutorials be included in the Premium Membership?
Yes! Any new tutorials we create will be included for Premium Members. We are also adding our older tutorials to the site, these tutorials will also be included.
Can I download the videos in the tutorials once I become a member?
At this time you cannot. We are looking into adding this functionality in the future though.
Will I be notified that my renewal is coming up?
As of this point, you will not. We are hoping to implement this in the future as we believe it would be valuable. In the meantime, if you contact us within 7 days after you’ve been billed, we will refund your money.
How do I cancel once I become a member?
If you have purchased a Premium Membership and would like to stop the subscription from automatically renewing, you can do so at any time by logging in and clicking the “My Account” link in the menu bar. You will find cancel on your account page towards the bottom of the Account Details section.
How often do you come out with a new tutorial?
This is a good question. We try to come out with news tutorials on a regular basis. What is regular? Well that depends on what the tutorial is about. Something like OS X takes a while to produce, while something like our Tutor Tips for iPhone is a little more simple, so it does not take as long. So you may see some more quickly, like every week, and then there may be a dry spell for a few weeks. Rest assured, we will keep creating them though.
What is the difference between Noteboom Productions and Noteboom Tutorials?
NoteboomProductions.com is our original site for all our tutorials we have available on the Mac App Store and iOS App Store. It does not offer any membership services. NoteboomTutorials is our membership site and by becoming a member, a subscriber has access to all the tutorials on NoteboomTutorials.com.
Why are some of the tutorial names different between your site and the App Stores?
Apple has strict guidelines we need to follow when we submit a tutorial to the App Store, particularly with their own trademarks like Mac. So we sometimes have to change the name to get it approved thereby making it different from the name in the site.
I see your tutorials in the App Store list more videos than they do on the site. Why?
The tutorials in the App Store include a few extra videos in some cases. These extra videos include how to leave a review in the App Store and introductions videos. These videos are not needed on the site so we left them out where we could.
