Adding Images to a Stickies Note

In this lesson for Stickies on the Mac we look at how we add media, such as photos and videos, to a sticky note.

Drag and Drop
One way of adding an image or video to a note in Stickies is by dragging and dropping it on an existing Sticky note. As an example, let’s say you wanted to include an image from a web page in Safari in a note in Stickies. All you need to do is drag the image from Safari over to your note in Stickies.

Markup an Image in a Stickies Note
Once you add an image to a note in Stickies you can mark that image up. When you markup an image you add shapes and text to it as well as other options. To markup an image you go to the image in the Stickies note, you’ll see an icon of an arrow or upside down triangle. When you click on it you’ll see Markup. Select it and all your tools will show for marking up the image. When you are finished marking it up, you click on done and all your markups will be saved in the image in your Stickies note.
