Customizing Metrics shown in Workout App

In this lesson for the Apple Watch we look at how we customize the metrics that are shown when when we are working out with the Workout app.

Accessing the Settings to change Metric Shown
To change the metrics that are shown on the Apple Watch while working out we need to go to the Watch app on the iPhone. Form there you select My Watch at the bottom left. Then scroll up until you see Workout in the settings for the Apple Watch Apps. Tap on Workout, from their select Workout View.

Viewing Multiple Metrics
The first thing you’ll have to choose is if you want to view multiple metrics or a single metric when working out. If you select multiple metrics, when you are working out, you’ll see more than one metric such as time, distance, and heart rate. When Multiple Metric is selected, you go through each workout and select which metrics you want to see for that workout.

Viewing a Single Metric
If you want to only see one metric, select single metric. To select the metric you want to see when using a Single Metric, you use the digital crown on your Apple Watch while working out.
