Arranging Stickies Notes

In this lesson for Stickies on the Mac we look at how you can arrange all your Stickies notes. You can arrange them by color, content, date, and location on the screen.

Arranging your Stickies Notes by Color
To arrange your Stickies notes by color you go to the menu bar and click on Window. One of the options you’ll see is Arrange By. Under Arrange bB are the four options for arranging your notes. When you select color, the Stickies app will collapse all your notes and rearrange them or group them by color. From there you can further arrange them by moving them around.

Arranging your Stickies Notes by Content
To arrange your Stickies notes by content you go to the menu bar and click on Window. Then under Arrange By is Content. When you select Content, the Stickies app will collapse all your notes and rearrange them alphabetically. From there you can further arrange them by moving them around.

Arranging your Stickies Notes by Date
To arrange your Stickies notes by content you go to the menu bar and click on Window. Then under Arrange By is Date. When you select Date, the Stickies app will collapse all your notes and rearrange them by date. From there you can further arrange them by moving them around. To see the date of a Stickies note, you just hover the cursor over the title of the note.

Arranging your Stickies Notes by Location on the Screen
To arrange your Stickies notes by location on your screen you go to the menu bar and click on Window. Then under Arrange By is Location on Screen. When you select this, the Stickies app will collapse all your notes and rearrange them by where they are located on the screen. So all your notes that were in the upper left corner will now be collapsed and grouped together in the upper left corner, while your notes in the lower right corner will also be collapsed and grouped together in the lower right corner. From there you can further arrange them by moving them around.
