Working with Bookmarks

In this lesson for the Books app on the Mac, I look at how you bookmark a page in the Books app and then how you can view all your bookmarks.

Bookmarking a Page
To bookmark a page, you move your cursor to the top of the page to show the toolbar. On the far right of the toolbar, you will see a bookmark icon. It is black by default, meaning the page is not bookmarked. Click on this icon to bookmark the page. When you do this, the icon will change color, and your page is bookmarked.

Viewing all your Bookmarks
To view all your bookmarked pages, you go the right of the bookmark icon in the toolbar. You’ll see a small arrow, click on this to view all your bookmarks. Click on any bookmark to go to that page.

Deleting Bookmarks
To delete a bookmark, you first go to the page you want to remove the bookmark from. Then just click on the bookmark icon in the toolbar to remove the bookmark from that page. You can also remove them when you are looking at all your bookmarks. To the right of each bookmarked page will be an ‘X’. The will only show when you hover your cursor over the bookmark. Click on the ‘X’ to remove the bookmark.
