Accessing Alarms from the Control Center

In this lesson for the Clock app on the iPad, we look at how we add the Alarm Control to the Control Center on the iPad. When we do this, we can easily get to any of our alarms through the Control Center.

Adding the Alarm Control to the Control Center
To add the Alarm Control to the Control Center, you need to go to the Settings app on your iPad. In the Settings app is a setting for Control Center. When you tap on this setting, you’ll see Customize Controls. When you tap on this you will see Include. These are the Controls that are in your Control Center currently. Below this list of included Controls, you will more controls you can add. Tap on the green ‘+’ next to Alarm. When you do that, the Alarm Control will move to the included controls. You can now access your alarms from the Control Center on your iPad.

Accessing your Alarms from the Control Center
To access your alarms from the Control Center, you first need to get to your Control Center. Depending on which version of iOS and iPad you have, you do this either by swiping up from the bottom of your iPad, or you swipe down from the upper right corner. Once you get to your Control Center, you’ll see an option for Alarm. When you tap on this, your iPad will open the Clock app and bring you to all your alarms.
