Priority, Sorting, and Adding Notes to Reminders

In this lesson for Reminders on the iPad, we take a look at how to set a priority in a reminder, sort our reminders, and add a note to a reminder on the iPad.

Setting a Priority for a Reminder
To set the priority, or add a note, you need to get to the information window of a reminder. To access this window, you tap on the ‘i’ to the right of the reminder. You can also swipe to the right on a reminder until you see ‘More’. Tap on ‘More’ to access the detail screen.

To set the priority, just tap on the priority you want to apply to your reminder.

Sorting your Priorities
The only way you can sort your priorities is my manually sorting them, you cannot have them sort automatically. To sort them manually, tap on ‘Edit’ in the upper right corner and then you just drag the three lines to the right of your reminders up and down to place them where you want in your list.

Adding a Note to a Reminder
Again, you need to access the Information or detail screen of a reminder by tapping on the ‘i’ or swiping on the reminder until you see ‘More’. Tap on ‘More’ to access the details of a reminder. One of the options in this window is Notes. Just add your notes to this field.
