In this lesson for What’s New in iOS 12 on the iPhone, we look at how we now force quit apps on an iPhone X.
Force Quitting Apps
In iOS 11, to force quit an app on an iPhone X, you had to tap and hold on the app when looking at the app switcher. Then you could swipe up to force quit it. With iOS 12, you just need to swipe up, you no longer need to ‘tap and hold’. It’s a subtle change, but one that makes force quitting apps easier.
