Setting Priority, Sorting, and Adding Notes to a Reminder

In this lesson for Reminders on the iPhone we look at how set the priority, sort reminders, as well as add a note to a reminder in the Reminders app on the iPhone.

Accessing the Information Screen for a Reminder
The first thing we need to do is access the Information screen for a Reminder. There are a couple ways to do this; you can tap on the ‘i’ to the right of the reminder you want to access the information screen for, or you can swipe to the left on a reminder until you see ‘More’. Tap on more to get to the Information screen.

Adding a Priority and Notes
At the bottom of the information screen for a note will be options for setting the priority and a field for adding notes. Just tap the priority you’d like and start typing in your notes. When you are finished, tap on Done in the upper right corner.

Sorting your Priorities
You can only sort your priorities manually, you can not have them sort automatically. To sort them manually, you just tap and hold on a reminder and drag it where you want. You can also tap on ‘Edit’ in the upper right hand corner When you tap on Edit, your are bale to edit your reminders including dragging them around to sort them.
