New Face ID Options for iPhone X

In this lesson for What’s New in iOS 12 on the iPhone, we look at the new Face ID options iOS 12 has on the iPhone including how we set up an alternate appearance for Face ID to use.

Set Up an Alternate Appearance
You can now set up and alternate appearance with Face ID. This can come in handy if you are having a tough time with Face ID recognizing your face, or if you’d like to set someone else up to use Face ID on your phone. To add an alternate appearance just tap on Set Up an Alternate Appearance. You’ll follow the same steps when you set up your first Face ID appearance.
