Changing Item Information

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac, we look at how we change the media information. This includes the release date, album name, artist, track number, and more. With movies, we can change information like the director and release date.

Changing Media Information in iTunes
To change the media information of anything in iTunes, you need to go to the three dots or ellipsis for the item you want to change. This could be a movie, song, album, and more. When you click on the three dots, you’ll have an option to change the information. If it is an album, it’ll say Album Info, if it’s a movie it’ll say Movie Info. Just select this option, and a new window will open. From there you’ll be able to change any of your media’s information.

In the example I use in the video, I show how you can change the name of an album to combine two albums into a single album. All by changing the media information.
