In this lesson for What’s New in macOS Mojave, we look at how we can easily insert a photo or scan a document using an iPhone or iPad and insert it into a document on the Mac.

Inserting a Photo or Scanning a Document from your iPhone or iPad
Before you can take a photo or scan a document with your iPhone or iPad, you must be using the same iCloud account and Bluetooth needs to be on. To insert a photo or scan a document, just create a new document in the app you want to insert a photo in (or scan a document into), from there you go to the menu bar and select File. You’ll see an option for to Import from iPhone or iPad. just select this option and choose your device. You can also select if you want to take a photo or scan a document. Some apps will also have an icon for importing photos in the toolbar, and you can also control0click (hold down the control key and click in the document) to get a menu that has the import option.
