Setting Priority and Sorting Reminders

In this lesson for Reminders for the Mac we look at how we can prioritize a reminder as well as how we can sort our reminders on the Mac.

Prioritizing Reminders
There are a few ways to prioritize a reminder. You can control-click on it (hold down the control key while clicking on the reminder) to select a priority from a pop-up menu/ You can also click on the ‘i’ to the right of the reminder. This ‘i’ only shows when the cursor is on the reminder. If you click on the ‘i’, you can then select a priority. Another way is to go to Edit in the menu bar and select a priority. And lastly, you can use key commands. Use Command 1,2, or 3 to set the priority. Use Command 4 to remove a priority.

Sorting Reminders by Priority
The first thing is to select the list you want to sort, Then go to View in the menu bar and you can select how you want them sorted including sorting by Due Date, Priority, Creation Date, or Title. You can also select Manual and then you just drag the reminders in the order you want them to show.
