Using the Photo Mode

In this lesson for Photography with the Camera app on the iPhone we take a quick look at the photo mode. This mode is very basic and just shoots a photo in the standard 4×3 aspect ratio.

Switching to Photo Mode
You’ll see the mode your camera is in below the preview. Just swipe to the left or right, and you can swipe on the preview screen as well as the mode, until you fine Photo. When you take a photo in the Photo mode, the photo is just a standard photo taken in the 4×3 aspect ratio. To take a photo in landscape mode, just rotate it. That’s all there is to the Photo mode. Pretty simple.
