Viewing Location and Related Photos

In this lesson for Photography with the Camera app on the iPhone we look at how we can view the location of where a photo was taken as well as related photos.

Viewing Related Information
To view related information about a photo such as the located or related photos, you first need to tap on the thumbnail in the lower right corner of the Camera app. After you do this, swipe to find the photo you want related information on. Not all you need to do is just swipe up. When you do this, you will see the location of the photo. If you want to see other photos that you’ve taken nearby, tap on Show Nearby Photos. When you do this, you’ll see nearby photos you’ve taken on a map. Tap on any one of the thumbnails to view more.

If you want to view other photos that are related by people in them , tap on Back in the upper left corner. Swipe up again and you’ll see related photo albums. These could be related for various reasons including people in them and the date.

To get back to your photo, just swipe down. That’s how you can view related photos in the camera app on the iPhone.
