Creating Standard Playlists

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac we are going to take a look at how we create a standard playlist. A standard playlist is when we manually add our media, such as songs, to a playlist.

Creating Smart Playlists

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac we look at Smart Playlists. With Smart Playlists, iTunes will automatically add our media, such as music or podcasts, to playlist based on certain rules or criteria.

Creating Genius Playlists

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac we look at how we create a Genius Playlist. A Genius Playlist is a playlist created by Apple based on Apple’s algorithms based on a song you select. Apple will also highlight songs from the iTunes store in the playlist.

Organizing Your Playlists

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac we are going to look at how we organize our playlists including how we can combine playlists and create folders for our playlists.

Exporting and Importing Playlists

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac we look at how to export playlists from iTunes and also how we import playlists into iTunes. This may come in handy if you want to have the same playlists on multiple computers, you just export them from one and import them into another.
