General Preferences

In this lesson we begin to cover the Mac’s system preferences with reviewing the General Preferences. General Preferences include appearance – for how buttons and menus appear, highlight color – which sets the color for highlighted text, sidebar icon size – specifically in the Finder, scroll bar options – for how the scroll bars appear and behave, default internet browser selection, behaviors for closing documents and windows, and how many recent items are shown.
