Adding Reminders from other Apps

In this video lesson for Reminders on the Mac we look at how we can add reminders from other apps including Safari and the Maps app.

Adding Reminder from another App
To add a reminder from another app, you basically share it to the Reminders app. As an example, if you were in Safari and you wanted to add a website you are looking at to a reminder, you click on the Share icon in Safari’s toolbar. When you click on the Share icon, you’ll see several options including Reminders. Select Reminders a new window will open. From this window you can name your reminder, add any notes in addition to the web page, and select the Reminders list you want created in. If you want to add a deadline based on the date or location, you click on the ‘i’ next to the reminder title. Once you have everything all set, just click on Add. You can add reminders from most apps.
