Apple Music Radio

In this lesson for iTunes on the Mac, we look at how Apple Music radio stations work in iTunes.

Accessing Apple Music Radio Stations
To access Apple Music radio station, you click on Radio below the toolbar. When you do this, iTunes will show all the available station in Apple Music. To play any one of them, you just click on the play button for the particular radio station you want to listen too.

What’s nice about Apple Music radio stations is you can go to the next song by clicking the right, right arrow in the toolbar. So if you want to skip a song, just click on Next and the next song will play.

Creating your Own Radio Stations
You can also create your own radio station based off of artist, and songs. To create a radio station based on an artist, you just find the artist in Apple Music and then click not the ellipsis or three dots. An option will show for Create Station. Select that and you now just created a station based on that artist. Apple Music usually starts out with a song from that artist, but it will also play songs by similar artists.

To create a station based on an album or song, you just go to the three dots or ellipsis next to the album or song. Again, select Create Station and Apple Music will create a station based on what you selected. Again, you can skip to the next song by clicking on the Next arrow on the left side of iTunes.
