Viewing Activity History and Achievements

In this lesson for the Apple Watch we look at how we view our activity in the Activity app on the iPhone. With the Activity app on the iPhone we can see our history and any achievements we’ve received from Apple. The first thing you’ll need to do is open your Activity app on your iPhone to follow along in this lesson.

Viewing Activity History
Across the bottom you’ll see four categories. The first category is History, this is a daily history of my activity. By default you are looking at today., When you scroll down you’ll see all your activity for today. If you look across the top, you’ll see the weeks activity by day. Tap on any one of the days in the past to see the activity for that day. Tap on the month name in the upper left corner to view that last months activity by day. Scroll up or down to view more months. Again, just tap on any day to see that day’s activity detail.

Workouts
Next to History at the bottom is Workouts. This is where we can view all the data for our individual workouts we’ve completed. I talk more about this in another lesson as there is a lot of data here.

Achievements
When you complete a certain goal or exceed a certain goal, Apple will give you an achievement. Maybe you’ve closed all your rings for a week or you’ve doubled your Move goal for the day. If you want to see what the achievement is for, tap on the individual achievement.

Sharing
The last option is for sharing. This is where we setup sharing our activity with friends and where we can also view how they are doing. If you scroll up you’ll be able to see your friends history. I talk more about sharing in another lesson.
